Does MaryJane have a book on Farmgirl style weddings?

My daughter phoned me this morning and let me know that there will be a summer wedding in 2018 and she wants a simple yet elegant farmgirl style theme.

We are starting a portfolio of ideas and would love some input regarding ideas, suggestions or good reference books we can look over.

Thank you ladies----
Melody

Another vase idea I've seen is putting the flowers cowgirl boots.

My daughter is having a farm girl wedding July 16. I have accumulated about 36 blue mason jars from the 1920s era. They are naturally blue not the current dyed jars. We're putting flowers in them and submersible firefly lights. The wedding is in a field and reception in a barn. I'll be posting photos if that will help. I will be selling the blue antique jars once the wedding is over. As gorgeous as they are, I can't use them for preserving and don't have space to store them all. Will keep a few. Very different shade of blue than the new ones. Love them. Things are heating up around here for the wedding! Aaah!

How exciting Melody!! Farmgill weddings are the best. In addition to MaryJane's Idea Book, we featured two amazing weddings in the magazine. The first is the wedding of our very own Karina and her husband Adam in the June/July 2014 issue, and the second is our good friend Shiloh in the June/July 2015 issue. Lots of great ideas and beautiful photos

Congratulations, Melody! My BFF's daughter had a Farmgirl style wedding a couple of years ago. A couple of the things that I remember that were really nice: mason jar glasses with each person's name on it and a few words about what that person meant to the couple. They used chalk board labels, and the glasses were next to the serve yourself beverages. Also, the couple knitted a tiny little animal or character for each guest as a souvenir. They were adorable. They got married outside and the reception was in the barn.

Happy Day!

Congratulations Melody! A Farmgirl Wedding sounds like fun to plan too. Yep. MaryJane's Ideas book has lots of pretty photos you will want to review for ideas. Also, on the Chatroom link, go to Rural Farmgirl , Dori Troutman, because she has lots of creative farm ideas on her MJF blog she has and you can see how she uses great colors and flowers from her flower farm.

Congrats Melody! I agree with the other ladies. Megan's wedding was absolutely beautiful and very farmgirl style. They would have plenty of ideas to share with you!

Melody,
I was also going to mention Mary Jane's Ideabook and the article on Megan and Lucas' wedding. I don't remember which issue but I think I remember one of her magazines featuring someone else's wedding too!
Hope you find ideas you like!

MaryJane certainly does indeed have articles and at least one book section on FarmGirl Weddings. Her Ideabook:Cookbook:Lifebook has a division called Each Other. Her daughter Megan was married on their Farm. Just lovely photos filled with beautiful ideas. You could probably borrow it from the Farmgirl library if you don't see it at the library or bookstore or own it.

One of my grand daughters has asked to be married here on our wooded acreage. I am thrilled and will be showing MaryJanes ideas (and, Megan's) to her for sure.

Have fun with the planning.
