Well, tomorrow we are having a sorta munch and brunch here. Kiddies opening presents etc. So tonight, being Christmas Eve, I decided to start cooking. I baked a chicken made some dressing, whipped up a batch of cookies and when I went to put them in the oven, the element was on fire. So, methinks, what the hay!!!I have all this stuff to do and no oven to do it in. I watch the element spark and glow and look real pretty but not what I really needed right now. So I turned off the breaker and it quit and I sat down and said Phooey!!So much I needed to do and I thought I would do it tonight. Of course some of the stuff I could have done yesterday (but what is today but yesterday tomorrow) or even before. Then if the element went out there would be a store open. I called my daughter and said "I guess you're cooking" I'll call another daughter and see what she can put together.....well actually I have 4 daughters to contribute. Of course they were all bringing stuff so why am I doing this. I am rambling so BYE MB Merry Christmas!!

Mary Beth, I know it probably wasn't funny but you really made me laugh. You've got a great sense of humor.

Oh dear.
It never fails that something happens to cause us stress right.
I hope you get your oven fixed soon. pinkroses.

Mary Beth, it sounds like in addition to having daughters you can count on, you have a wonderful relationship with them. You are blessed!

When you go to the appliance store for your new heating element on Tuesday, I think you'll have a smile on your face because your Christmas was saved by friends who are also related.
