Posted - Feb 15 2016 : 2:49:29 PM Long time no see! How have you been? I am writing to you from our new home - still in the same city, but on the other side of town. It is lovely here. The big ol' yard has plenty of room to plant and just last week, I saw these two does inside the fence and they JUMPED! WHOOSH! - like ninja deer, over it when they saw me watching. The yard backs up to woods and I am just in heaven.
It's still the five of us, more or less. I am blessed to be able to continue staying at home. Husband and I got married in June. Oldest son is living down in Albany for his senior year of high school - he's studying carpentry. He's coming home at the end of May when he graduates. Younger son is a sophomore in high school and has colored his hair bluebird blue! Daughter is in middle school. Still three cats and oldest son's dog.
I've been working on MJF badges lately. I finished beginner's Going Green today and submitted my application and I'm looking for a place to post what I've learned from beginner's Green Energy, since I don't have an in-person Farmgirl chapter. Is there a place for that here, do you know?
Now. Tell me about you. What have you ladies been up to??

Posted - Feb 16 2016 : 12:00:42 PM Welcome back Jennifer! Its so beautiful when you can watch animals in your very own backyard. Especially those ninja deer! I bet your younger son is loving his bluebird blue colored hair. How fun is that! I remember when my brother's hair was that color! Don’t you just love working on merit badges? I can’t wait to hear more about your badges in the merit badge chit chat thread.

Posted - Feb 15 2016 : 6:26:42 PM Welcome back Jennifer...sounds like you have found a new lovely place to live. Since your yard back up to woods you will probably get all kinds of critters checking you out. That will offer lots of Delight and Fun for you. I would keep a camera handy if I was you.
