Oh my stars! Lookie what arrived in my Post Box this past week...
2 very dear friends sent me the sweetest Valentine gifts!
From my sweet friend Elizabeth, in Tulsa OK,,, (we are tea Party BFF's)

I think the 'tea towel' will go in my Scotty trailer,, it is perfect for the décor... and it goes w/o saying... the tea will be enjoyed this weekend!

Then 2 days later,,, this little goodie showed up...

from Denise in the Tri-Cities of WA. (a glamping gal~pal of mine)..

it is the sweetest book/page saver.. what a great wool craft idea...
These past 2 weeks have been quit the hectic weeks and the next 2 will be equally hectic... so getting these 2 little gifts of sweetness doth restoreth the Soul!
I am hugging Elizabeth and Denise from way over here under the oak trees of mountainous California...
and, I am wishing all my MJF sisters a Happy Valentines Day too.

Love doesn't have to be measured in cards, flowers or gifts. It's great to just be together.

Such sweet stories. I've not been married near as long as some of you gals but my honey and I just spent the day together as well. I did throw a little candy his way but it was three very small purchases and nothing to write home about. It is such a blessing just to have someone special to chill with (and unbutton your jeans when you eat too much mexican food for lunch! He totally got me when I suggested that we find some recliners and catch a few ZZZZzzzzz's!)

After 42 years of wedded bliss and blisters... lol! Hubby and have decided to not stress out over gifts.. so we just spend the day together doing something we both enjoy, so today, he in his red plaid flannel shirt and me in my fav red cashmere sweater went over to the Village and walked around, chatted with the Vendors and sat at the park enjoying froo froo coffee from the local coffee vendor.. Tonite we enjoyed BBQ pork and baked taters... now we are relaxing in our comfy chairs, he reading and I just finished up working on a UFO sweater. Even just relaxing, with my honry by my side is a fabulous Valentines gift! Hugz.

Those Valentine's were just a picture off of Facebook that I liked and saved...
with the hopes of someday making some. I thought they were so lacy and pretty too.

Love and Hugs,

My hubby and I are going on 48 years of marriage and we too, don't get too crazy with Valentine stuff. Do exchange a card, a hug and a few kisses . . . some laughter and then fall asleep on the couch watching TV!
