i think i mighta' mentioned this before .. but with all the new farmgirls .. maybe someone might have an answer for me.
sometime back .. my e-mail STOPPED allowing me to show COLOR fonts!!
hank is on the same system as i am .. and he CAN get color fonts .. soo .. i know it has not been deleted from my computer .. "I" am the administrator .. just can't get color in MY e-mails that i send or receive! have i whammed down on a button somewhere that isn't allowing me to see color?
oh .. i think when i change it in an e-mail ... YOU can see it on your end though .. even though i only see it as BLACK.
HALP!!!!!!

yep .. big fee for 'calling' microsoft. i spoke with my 'server' this morning .. and they really couldn't help me .. but sent me to microsoft website where i looked up my problem. they give the solution .. i DID that (have alreay done that several times) .. still no 'color'. i did have my server give me a new e-mail address and when i get everything flipped over to that e-mail box .. i might just close my old one out.
i HONESTLY think this has to be some sort of computer internal GLITCH on my e-mail account. dang! xo

Frannie can you call your computer's help desk? Or is there a huge fee for that? The other thing is did you utilize the help screens and troubleshoot?
The dialogue box should drop down from your top bar on the screen that lists things like edit,view,format,etc. You could try choosing format and then choose Font and work within the dialogue box.
I was having trouble with my printer yesterday, so I was dealing with the troubleshooting etc., finally got it figured out, though I still don't actually know what the problem was! Guess, computers need their secrets also! LOL

oh i know it's at my end .. cuz' if i send an e-mail to hank (who uses this same computer) .. COLOR does show up .. just not on MY end. i reeeeeeeeely want my color back! i did a restore (or that thing where you go back to an earlier time) .. still nuthin'. i'mpretty sure i have the right box checked .. but i'll check again .. now where do i find this font formatting dialogue box exactly? maybe i am looking in the wront place?
oh .. and i've checked LOTS of my computer books and it is never mentioned as a problem!
anyone else have any great ideas from your computer gurus? xo

Hi,
I don't know whether this will help, but have you tried doing a restore? Sometimes that will help with a problem, and my program will let you undo the restore also if it doesn't help. Also, have you double checked to make certain that in the font formatting dialogue box you don't have automatic checked, sometimes that can be an issue, I don't know why, doesn't really make sense.

Hey miz frannie- i still see your color so it might be just on your end. don't know why- outside here it is all white =o] maybe you just have some holiday snow!
