Posted - Dec 18 2006 : 06:47:22 AM speaking of the card exchange, I hope no one minds that their cards are going to be New Year cards, except the RAOK cards. I have a hard copy of that list but not of the card exchange list. I will get them out though, I just can't access the file right now. GRRR. I think my relationship with computers is entirely love hate.

Posted - Dec 17 2006 : 9:14:13 PM the funny story is on my blog as to how I am able to be on the net right now...it is rather comical...I have missed coming here so much! One might think I need a 12 step program or something! HA!
Jo, your Solstice sounds lovely!! We are wakign before the sunrise and packing the kids up to go out to Rob's parent's cabin. There are a few spots near to it that are great for viewing the sunrise....LOVE that part of Solstice!! Alos having a binfire but the feasting waits for us until Christmas Day because we are going to be gone as of Thursday and then home late late on Christmas Eve. We will have a little feast here with a couple of friends, some family and neighbors. I love hosting in my home and most people we host are reasonable enough that KNOW everything is cenral around the Solstice and the birth of the Sun *not* the Christ-Mass....
Glad to be back on for awhile anyhow.....
Oh how i love the internet.

Posted - Dec 17 2006 : 8:49:14 PM Miss you miss you Tasha, I love your postings and frequently look just for "your special" comments! Wish you could see what we're planning for winter solstice. That's even more our holiday here than christmas. Big feast night and a bonfire, right up your alley!! The northern lights are lovely here, loved your no gifts thing. We're pretty minimal here, it's more about gatherings and cooking, it's a nice feeling to not "need anything"! Get going again!! jo
