oh my goodness .. what a delightful movie! daughter wednesday told me we MUST see it .. she said we would recognize someone in it!
MUMBLE when he was a baby!! our little sofia's feet are always 'dancing' .. and when mumble broke into dance .. we just laughed and laughed out loud!
and a great 'moral' to the story too. lots of fun songs throughout!
robin williams is great in the two characters he plays.
anyone else seen it yet?

gosh .. that is amazing gurlfren .. i'm trying to think of what the sexual overtones were? i know they had 'eggs' that the babies were hatched from .. much along the line of the wonderful movie Penguins .. THAT was an amazing movie. honestly didn't see the sex in the movie though. i know i will see this cute film a couple more times .. will try to see what you saw. xoxo

We went to go see the movie. My kids really wanted to go see it so we went with another family and their kids. It was kind of intersting because before the movie at dinner, my friend and I were talking about when to start talking to our sons about the birds and the bees.(we both have sons at the same age)
well, to be honest, when we were sitting in the movie, I looked over at her and said, it may be having that talk sooner than I thought. The movie has alot of sexual undertones! I wasn't looking for them, they were there. The moral of the story was good, and oh little happy feet was adorable. But because of the undertones which weren't really so "under" will keep me from buying this movie.
I don't understand why they can't just make a wholesome kids movie without the sexual content. They dont need to do it to keep the parents entertained while watching a kids movie. In my opinion it's not the place for it.

sure hope you are feeling reeeeeeeel better reeeeeeeeel sooooooooon! eldon was right .. it is a movie for both kids and adults. had some great 'morals' in it. standing by your friends .. perseverence .. learning to solve problems .. faith

Frannie...I have been sick and "out of commission" alot lately...but Eldon took Chloe to see this last week, while the baby and I had an extra long afternoon nap.
Chloe (3) has been doing the Happy Feet dance all weekend! She *loved* it!
Eldon said it was so cute, and the character voices were darling. He said it was a really good kids movie that parents can stand to sit through! Some of the cartoons nowdays are so loud and obnoxious!
I am sure Eldon will buy it when it comes out on DVD.
I hope to see it in the theater, maybe between Christmas and New Years....I HOPE I am off this dumb IV by then!!
