Grace, you're a hoot! We have wild turkeys close to us in the city. It is so strange to see them come right up to the car. They can be a nusiance and the wild ones can be really mean. Maybe that's why Benjamin Franklin decided they should be our national symbol.

Seriously,,, this is me and a Turkey I meet...
I was driving down the road (back out in the West Plains of Spokane, WA.)
he just ambled down the road to have a 'meet-n-greet' with some of our neighbor's hens... "Tom Turkey" just walked up to my car...

and no,,, he was not our Turkey Day dinner... lol!
