I'm so excited. One of the cities for next year's Mother Earth News Fair is here in Texas!!

Me and a farmgirl friend have already bought our tickets and booked a room.

I'm amazed that with over 100 workshops and activities that the weekend wristband is only $20.

Y'all come join us in Feb!!!!!!

I went to the one in Puyallup, WA in 2014 with a friend and had a wonderful time. The workshops were amazing, there was so much to learn. It was really hard to pick and choose which ones I wanted to attend. The vendors were also great, they had so many things that interested me. I also bought a number of the Mother Earth books. Unfortunately we had to leave before Joel Salatin spoke, and I really wished we could have stayed to listen to him. I'm really hoping to be able to go to the one in Albany, Oregon in 2016. If I can, I will make sure to make arrangements to stay through to the very end.

Bonnie, I agree, it should be very informative. I'm stoked because Joel Salatin is one of the speakers.

Linda, it's in Belton, which is south of Waco and west of Temple. Thanks for the offer of staying at your place, but I think the commute of 3 hours might be a bit much. :) hee hee

Catherine - Where in Texas is it going to be? If it is close to me, you could stay here. LOL!

That should be a lot of fun. Mother Earth news has been around a long time. I'll bet the fair will be really informative.
