I do have some boards on Pinterest, however I don't spend a lot of time there. Because I've made hundreds and hundreds (yes, literally) of aprons and sold them I call myself an "Apronista" and have an "Apronista" board. Most of my pins there are aprons I made myself, and some of what I call my "Linens and Lace Collage" aprons are very popular for folks to re-pin.

What makes me laugh, is every now and then I get an email from Pinterest telling me they've found some pins I might be interested in for my "Apronista" board. Some of those pins they found are my own pins from my "Apronista" board of aprons I made . . . ha, ha, ha!

Beautiful! I wouldn't be able to purchase from the antique store, however!

She has sooooooo much stuff. And most is reasonably priced. I got a Carol Little mixed-crocheted-piece sweater - multi color - for $10. I thought that was a great buy. I know it is commercially made, but it is a great cover-up for over a tank top. See the picture. I put a white blouse on the hanger so I could show the front and the back. I love some of the combinations made from crocheted linens. They sell in the antique building at the flea market for $100 and up.

I would love looking through her things as well. Have done lots of that over the years. I have LOTS and LOTS of vintage linens, doilies and such like.

At the First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas, there is a lady who sells antique linens. She has bins and bins of tablecloths, aprons, crocheted doilies, embroidered items, pillowcases, and bedding (shams, bedskirts, etc); stacks of quilts (starting at $3.50); other clothing reasonable priced. She also sells wedding and prom-type dresses for $10 (and some look hardly used) - great for costumes and some for a wedding. This is where today I got an apple and strawberry tablecloth to use to make a few aprons for our September Apple Festival. It takes a long time to go through all the bins but you can get some good deals. I love looking through her stuff every time I go to the Trade Days.

Yes, Linda, and there can be a LOT of sewing to secure cut edges, etc. Sewing a crocheted doily on takes a lot of sewing too!
I have enjoyed making them and customers who have bought them LOVE them!

They look time consuming. You have to decide where each doily or piece of lace is going. Very beautiful!

Too funny! I will have to go check out your board. :) I absolutely LOVE Pinterest, and use it quite a bit for ideas for the kids for school.
