There is another way to braid rugs with a device that looks like a toothbrush, but it's not a real toothbrush. But I have crocheted and braided rugs. Alot of women in this area do the toothbrush method.
If I find information on it, I'll post it so all can see!

Tina, yea, I love having that bullitin board, I just wish it was bigger, I have to move things along to a scrapbook, which is fun too, but the board is there to look at anytime.

Yes Nancy Jo, so glad you have learned how to do this blogging thing. I love all your pictures. Your quilts are wonderful, and you are so blessed to have them. That spread you made is also a treasure, and the rag rug. Is that the toothbrush rug or crocheted? I also make rag rugs. Mostly rectangle ones on a frame from scrap fabrics! No time right now, but love to do it. Quilting has taken over.....
