I swear, those solar light sticks, the type you can buy nearly anywhere from the dollar type stores to Target.... for a dollar... have a gazillion and one uses...
stick them anywhere to light up anything from pathways to flower boxes and everything in between..
stick them in flower pots, wine bottles re-purposed chandeliers and cut cowgirl boots... cluster them together or tucked in between plants in your garden... I keep on in a sweet Bud Vase in my kitchen on the window sile by day and move it over to the kitchen counter at night as a night lite... honest, they will last a good 6 hours...

SO what do you do with your solar light sticks?

I could see placing some in a sweet candlelabra...
a coffee mug, a canning jar hanging from a branch... oh the possibilities...

Some of our solar lights in action at our two recent glamping excurions.

The wrought iron holder is for candles. I just cut cork pieces to fit in the bottom of the lights and pushed them onto the candles "spikes". We like the effect!

Put one of the lights in the top of a wine bottle. I used a few thicknesses of "glamper print" duct tape around the fitting so it fit more snugly. The bottle will be a souvenir of our "maiden voyage" for the REIVER'S REST! (Stone Cottage Alpine Dessert Wine)

Now THAT's a compliment, Gracie! You GO girl! You always have the coolest ideas! Thank you for sharing! Hugs - Nini

All kinds of solar lights at Walmart.

I found a sort of candleholder that is wrought iron and holds three candles at a thrift store today. Using pieces of cork I'm making it work for three of the small solar lights! Pics after our glamping weekend . . heading out tomorrow. We just got back from glamping by the Dolores River. Had to come home for a couple days to get more food, do laundry, say "HI" to the cat (yes she DID miss us!)

Okay, where have I been? I haven't even seen these, let alone get my hands on some. Shopping 101 here I come.

We use them, too. The other thing I go nuts with are the battery powered tea lights! I put them in Mason jars, one in an old railway lantern, under old glass insulators...no fire hazard from real tea lights.

Love the light in the boot!

Just returned from our first glamping excursion . . . a lady from the neighboring campsite came over to visit. She noticed the solar lights and liked some of my ideas and says she's gonna copy me . . :D
