I recently returned from a wonderful vacation in California. While I was visiting Ferndale I had the opportunity to meet up with fellow MJF Farmgirl Darlene (darlenelovesart) from nearby Loleta. We spent a lovely day walking around downtown Ferndale visiting the historic cemetery, the history museum and all the nice little shops in town. Then we had dinner at the historic Ivanhoe Hotel. A few days later Darlene met me up in Eureka for a tour of Jo Sonja's Folk Art Studio where I was taking a painting class. On my last day we met up at the Loleta Cheese Factory for some last minute souvenir shopping and a walk through their lovely gardens. It was such a great experience to meet Darlene and I'm looking forward to going back to visit her again some day!

How nice of Darlene to show you around. Farmgirls are the best. I'm waiting on the pictures, also.
