Alas! There is not a bit of chocolate in the pantry. However, there is a wonderful man upstairs who has no problem going out in the storm to get it for me.

I'm sure glad you posted this . . . it's stormy here and, tho' we need the rain, it just brings me down. Off to the pantry!

Grace: That would be a great thread to start, "Chocolate is the cure for..."

yepadoodle,,, Chocolate gets me through! lol!

Slugs eating my seedlings... Chocolate is the cure
Gophers tunneling through my yard,,, chocolate is the cure...
Dismal windy weather.... Chocolate is the cure...
$129.00 unexpected Vet bill... Chocolate is the cure...
lol!
The Brownies are now just a memory but not to worry, this is Memorial Day weekend and I loaded up on watermelon and Cherries!

Amy, for sure, borrow my idea for your Kerig cups... Hubby uses Stevia in his coffee so the Stevia is on the upper tier along w/a few tea bags and the K-cups in the lower half. It gives me a good excuse to use my Mid-century tiered tray.

Yup, chocolate is a CURE for many things!
Today, we're having some sunshine, so trying to get some outside things done. We've not had this much rain in a very long time! Things are very green and growing, which is good. However, that means the weeds are green and growing and we're having a devil of a time trying to keep up with them. Yesterday I did some mowing even though it was windy and I didn't feel good. Today, hubby and I finished mowing the yard and some of the weeds. We need one of our weedeaters to be working to get places mowers can't get. Mercy!
Two days ago we were able to get the black plastic mulch we use in the vegetable garden down and weighted, however, nothing has been planted yet. Hopefully that can happen in the new few days and we get a warmup in this weather.

The weather has been rain here and there, with wind here and there . . . hard to get some things done!
Think I'll go eat chocolate! :D

Grace!!!!! As a brownie-holic, baking brownies is the perfect cure for the dreary duldrums!!!!! I think I'll bake brownies later. And- that was rather a small slice missing. LOL
Thanks for the picture.

Grace, those brownies look delicious. I agree that a nice cup of java and a homemade brownie will put some sunshine and inspiration into anyone's day!!
