My biggest regret was that I didn't get a picture. :( I was able to visit Bakersville in Missouri last Monday for their Spring Planting Fest. It was an AWESOME experience! Emilee looked totally wore out when I flagged her and Sasha down in front of the house to say hello.

Thanks Emilee for taking the time to say hi to me and my family. You looked lovely!!

Bakersville was very neat to see!! Here are a few photos of our fun!

It isn't the house where it was filmed, but the house where Laura wrote the books (actually quite different, as the show didn't follow her books all that well). We are huge LH book series fans!! Very cool tour!

Did you visit the house that Little House on the Prairie was filmed in? Isn't that where they are located?

Oh, I would love to meet her. Their catalog is so pretty, like a coffee table book, and their seeds! Oh I love their seeds. They bought the oldest seed company in New England, here in Connecticut. It is HEAVEN. It has seeds in old, wooden bins and card catalog drawers, with all kinds of gifts, and then upstairs is an antique store. I have been there twice. Last time, my farmgirl chapter went. Love them and what they do. I bet she is adorable in person, as she is cute as can be in pictures.

Glad you had fun!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

Bet you had a great time! I'd like to visit there one of these days and eat at the restaurant as I have the Baker Creek vegan cookbook (the recipes are delicious!) I ordered almost all my seeds from Baker Creek this year. If you go again, maybe if you go through the St. Louis area, you can stop by and we can ride down together. Or if I can't go, just stop by and say hi. Isn't that area of Missouri quite beautiful? I love the rolling hills.
I can understand why Emilee looked worn out. Hosting such a large event must be difficult. But aren't you glad they do it?
