Finally, the new temple/stretcher from Finland is keeping my rugs from "smiling!" This is rug #6 and I just cut it from the loom. It's a little shorter than the previous rugs only because of an issue with a twisted warp thread that was seconds away from springing. I hurried and finished the blue gingham border and hem and cut it free. I'll tie the fringe and run some stitching along the edge to help keep the fringe from unraveling when washed...... Whew.....I think I'm finally getting the hang of this!

Posted - Aug 07 2015 : 10:36:51 PM I love your rug, Melody. A friend who sells looms let some of us make a rug on her loom using loopers (factory leftovers from the tops of socks). I love my little rug!
