Posted - Apr 25 2015 : 11:20:24 AM Hi Farmgirls!
I'm so excited! I just had to share with my farmsisters! I passed my Master Gardener Mid-Term Exam! I passed the written test! Oh my...it was soooooo hard. Twelve pages in three hours. I think I took one hour on the first page alone! But I did it! All those classes, all those hours studying! I did it! WOOT WOOT!
(Now ya know where I've been lately, why I haven't been here as often. )

Posted - Apr 28 2015 : 08:19:23 AM Thanks girls! I've enjoyed it. It's given me new ideas for the blog, inspired me to do some new things in my own garden, and I've met some wonderful friends (and a few want to join my sisterhood chapter, too)!
Now I have to complete my hours, and do a cutting project, but the hardest hurdle is done.

Posted - Apr 27 2015 : 09:49:16 AM Congratulations, Nicole! I've attended some of the local Master Gardeners' classes and enjoyed the learning experiences, but haven't been able to devote the time to completing the commitment. I'm sure you will enjoy helping others, it's so much fun to share of love of plants and growing them. Susan

Posted - Apr 26 2015 : 2:51:06 PM Congrats Nicole.. Wow! I did Master Gardener class about 7 yrs ago and our test was open book. They said they wanted you to be able to know WHERE to find the data. If I had to memorize it, I'd be a goner.

Posted - Apr 25 2015 : 1:56:18 PM Thanks girls! It was harder than I anticipated the whole process to be, so I am proud of myself for sticking with it. People dropped out, and we had fourteen pounds of paper to study, lol!
CJ...I am celebrating today by getting my house tidy, my laundry done, and my porch swept, lol. All the things that have fallen by the wayside the last couple of weeks I was studying. ;)
