CBS Sunday Morning is part of our ritual. We get up, turn it on, the girls play while I make coffee and hot chocolate then I watch and ROb goes to get the paper and whatever else I may need for our Sunday breakfast. I make the girls a little pre-beakfast of sorts to satiate them prior to the real deal. We have soemthing grandious by about 11am. Usually my steel cut oatmeal pancakes and eggs, or eggs and toast and turkey bacon along with out juice and hot beverage of choice. After Sunday Morning, we turn on NPR or Cities 97 for their Sunrise show and we chill. We play scrabble, read the paper, read books together, snuggle in a pile of pillows and blankets, build blanket forts, etc. Sometimes we have an errand down in BRainerd (like we did today....got me a new shower head...oooooooo best shower ever!!) but usually we spend our time being quite in our home and in our Woods....I love Sunday mornings at our home....I think I need to change my answer on the What Would You Be thread...I would be Sunday morning....

Gotta go read that link now....and wait anxiously for next SUnday morning!! lol

It comes on when we're in church, so we tape it then watch it in the middle of the week, along with the farm report, America's Heartland on PBS, and 60 minutes. We don't watch too much tv on Sundays.....but now, you have me interested - think we'll watch it tomorrow!

Yes, I did enjoy both, the cookbooks, and the aprons. That is one of the books everyone was talking about recently on MJ's, and I ordered it along with two other good ones! Wish that the apron exhibit was coming near me!

I'm watching it right now..I haven't seen the segment on cook books but they are talking about our eating habits and the family dinner. Lots of interesting statistics...teens that have freqent family dinners are less lucky to smoke, try drugs, alcohol, etc, than their peers that do not have frequent family dinners. Of course, it's not about the food but about the fellowship. Gotta go...segment on aprons coming up!
