How do you dry your hankies?
I use the chloraphyl(sp) from the lawn, natural sunlight, gentle breeze and a visiting butterfly..

Grace, that is a fabulous idea! I'm gonna check my local junk-antique store today for a Spoon Holder!

I think I will do that Grace so they won't be so bunched up on there. I am thinking I will give it a coat of white paint to freshen it up a bit too! Oh and I have some of my mom's and grandmom's jewelry I could hang on there. I am just not in the creative thinking mode lately. Thank you for the suggestions. If I get to it soon I will post a picture.

what if you hang a hankie every other space and then on the next row down, alternate the spaces.. you could hang some sweet old necklaces to glam it up a bit..

Well Marie, I am a slacker too. Mine go in the dryer.

I love the spoon holder idea! I have one of my mom's and this would work great. Going to clean it up and see what I can do. The only problem is the space between the rows. It has 32 spaces for the spoons and I have well over that just not sure how they would look. Maybe too crowded.

Not only would the birds thieve the hankies, they'd make a MESS on them!

ok, so today the sun poked it's head out so I took advantage of it... and so I hand washed some Linen hand embellished curtains... I luv it when I can dry my laundry on the 'solar dryer' aka clothes line,, and I luv laying certain laundry out on the lawn so they can dry and stains bleach out thanx to the sunshine and chloraphyl from the grass.... todays laundry was curtains and a few doilies..

I am sure the folks driving by think I have lost my marbles! lol!
hey, at least I am not sticking empty wine bottles in my garden any more! lol! snork, giggle!

LOL - Oh, Gracie... When I read your post, all I could think was how mine probably dry like Grandma's did - right there in my apron pocket! LOL! I think I like your way a LOT better! ;)

Hey - Hold on... Wait a minute.... Why so many hankies, sister? I hope everything's okay! Do you have special plans for them - a valance like CJ's, perhaps? Or maybe sewing them together as a tablecloth or bed coverlet for the glamper?

Hugs and love -

Nini

Beautiful sight. Great score!

I dry mine on top of the dryer. Too many grackles to dry laid out on the ground. All I would be doing would be washing ~ laying out ~ bringing in ~ washing.... it would never end.
