Made some lovely lavender soap yesterday and cut it today-Now it will cure for a month and then will be ready to wrap and label.

It's nice making soap again after a four year hiatus. I made some Red Clover Tea and a new scent called Eucalyptus Spearmint last week-Very nice scents-Clean and SPRING like!

Only 6 more batches to go and I'll be ready for our first show in July...

Awesome. I grow lavender too but it doesn't always winter in Minnesota. I make sachets and soap but have never put the lavender in the soap. I can smell it from here.

Decided to see any activity on my "old" blog! Can it really be 4 years since I made my last entry?

I sure am having fun making soap once again. Just finished some Lemon Thyme and Oatmeal-Milk & Honey----the house smells so nice or could it be that ham in the oven??

Ok girlfriend, you know how I am with your red clover tea. I still have a few bars I have been hoarding from our very last barter. Are you up for another one! Love your soaps!

I love Lavender and yours came out so creamy white, but as a true farmgirl, I struggle with lavender buds. They just look too much other not so desirable things on the farm.
