Today is the first time this year I have been able to sit out on my deck, and enjoy the sunshine. Slight breeze, so a cup of hot tea tasted good, and I needed long sleeves. We have such a short time to enjoy the sunshine before it turns from warm & mellow to hot & harsh.

Even when I look out my window I can see how gentle the sun and shadows are this time of year. Hopefully each fair day of spring will find me sitting in the sunshine.

What a difference a week makes. It snowed 6 inches last night. No sunshine today but when the sun is this high in the sky the snow won't stay too long. Dreaming of spring.

I'm at my daughter's in Phoenix and we've been enjoying the sunshine. My first day here it rained all morning, which the desert desperately needed and was cool. It's gradually warming up but still enjoyable in the back yard!

So looking forward to sitting outside. Here in way up northeast NY near Canada, we are back to cold weather. We did have a couple of nice days and I was able to sit in my garage (I open the bay doors and just take in the sun while being sheltered from the cold) and enjoy a cuppa. I look forward to spring being officially here!

Connie I like my cup of tea on the front porch too, but have to wait a little longer. My porch faces north and the sun doesn't warm it yet.

I can't wait to get back outside, I hate being stuck indoors and loathe cold weather. I miss my 5am outdoor coffee time, listening to the birds wake up. It's my favorite time of the day.

The sun makes my heart sing! We have had an 85 degree temperature swing from ten days ago (-15 to 70) - and fortunately in the right direction!

We've been unseasonally warm here in the Oregon Coast. My greenhouse is ready to receive the seedlings, the blackberries are leafing out and even the peach trees are in full bloom! I hope this weekend's predicted rain doesn't knock all the blossoms off!

Soaking up the sun here in the Chicago area. We are close to 60 and have had some gorgeous weather at last. Got my fingers crossed winter doesn't make a comeback!

Today got up to 73 degrees. Beautiful! Sunshine and just wonderful. I feel so much better than just a week ago when it was cold and overcast.

Sara, we're still overcast here in the Texas Hill Country. 55 degrees but the wind is kicking up, again. Enjoy the sunshine.

CeeJay I am so glad you are able to be outside. Y'all had a 'rough haul' for way too long.

My backyard is drying too from all the snow, ice & rain. Can't complain we sure do need the moisture. Tomorrow it should be dry enough to dig in.

We've been able to enjoy the outdoors and sunshine the last few days here too! I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO GET OUTSIDE!!!!
After our big snow, it warmed up considerably and melted all that snow and most of the mud is dried up.
It's been a pleasure!
