Hi girls -
My husband and son are bent on finding a Krispy Kreme.
Apparently today, in celebration of the opening of their 1000th store, every store across America is giving a free glazed donut to their first 1000 customers.
I don't even know where there IS a Krispy Kreme in our area anymore... They've all shut down, or at least I think they did.
Although I don't "do" Krispy Kreme, my boys will not be held back on a technicality such as having to find an open shop. Knowing them, I am sure they would travel into other states just to get their free donut.
That being the case, anyone want to join me for dinner tonight? ;) LOL!

They are gone here too. Wonder why---people lined up to have a gooey ol' donut. haha Not my thing though

LOL! Melody - that would totally be Charlie... Too funny!
Yeah, girls, ours are all gone here, too. I wonder just where that 1000th store is? My hubby was bummed, but what ya gonna do? I told him I'd make him some donuts for Easter. That perked him up a bit. :)

Yep....here too. Now it's a Panera Bread place. I sure don't miss Bruce hitting the accelerator just in passing when their flashing red light was on!!

Best of luck on their search. I thought Krispy Kreme's had closed their doors for good years ago. They did here in my part of IL. There wasn't one by me, so I never had one of their donuts. I have heard people go on & on how delicious they were. Glad to hear the company is still alive and with it's 1,000th store, it must be doing well now.
