Did you see her new autobiography? http://www.discoverlaura.org/

I bought it for my mom for Christmas and just got my copy last week. It is a BIG book. I didn't get a chance to look at it much before giving it away, but looks like a treasure.

They are going to be having a 3rd printing -- which is awesome since I waited almost 3 months before receiving mine!

for the Laura in all of us.

Bonnie, I remember that Farmgirls on the Loose trip and was bummed that I couldn't figure out a way to join at least for the day when it was in my area.
That's life for ya!

Penny,

Thanks for posting this! I wanted to all that day and never got a chance.

The book looks like it is a hot commodity. Can't wait to get a copy!

From a fella Laura fan!

Penney...I just saw this Laura Ingalls Wilder Autobiography too and Amazon is sold out...but I sure
would love to get it also. Looks like it would be good. I read some book reviews and it sounded like
it has some dark depressive accounts in it too...but that didn't scare me off...as isn't that real life?
We all have dark depressive times in our lives don't we?

Thanks for sharing girls!!

Hugs and Smiles,
Peggy

I just put a hold on it at our library. There are 33 people ahead of me though, so I probably won't get to read it until summer!

Thanks for letting us know about my favorite childhood author's biography.

Haven't seen it yet but our River Valley Farmgirls in Minnesota and others who joined us visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder sites on a Farmgirls on the Loose trip. It was great fun! I'll have to look for the book.
