Hi, everyone

I'm still fairly new to the community here, and still a newbie to growing (3rd year) and canning (2nd year). My county fair is going on right now, and I entered some my canned goodies for the second time, and several veggies and herbs for the first time. I'm so excited about the results, I have to CROW about it to someone - and what better people than my farmgirl sisters? I won ELEVEN first place ribbons out of 13 total submissions! Yep, I'm a farm girl now!

I put pictures of what I entered (along with my ribbons) on my blog, so here are the links (not sure how else to do this - if someone has a better way, let me know!):

Thanks for letting me crow!

I think Calicogirl is banned from all fair competition, since she would win every category hands down, and leave the rest of the entrants crying in shame.
It would be Clara's pickles against Aunt Bea's....times 10

I live in the same county as "Calicogirl" . . . she should enter some of her goodies! :D She does great and yummy things!
Our fair is usually early August and it is kinda fun to go see. They are nothing like they used to be, however. I did 4-H as a kid and the fairs then were pretty impressive. But it is still fun!
