Its been raining for the last few days, leaves are every where, lots of reds and yellows. I pressed a few leaves, I do that every year, not sure why, I guess because they are just so pretty. Anyway a good day to stay inside today. See those candles in the picture? Those are my favorite beeswax ones that are made by Nuns. I have one burning on the fireplace mantle right now. The old wood bowl is filled with my special buttons.

Love those buttons. It's a great way to display them. Aren't beeswax candles great. I've made lots of them. We had 70 in Minneapolis yesterday. Not sunny, but the leaves are beautiful. Thanks for sharing Nancy.

How fallish you are!! love to look at pretty fall colors too. We have some Nuns here in Stanwood that make the Beeswax candles. I have never bought any but have seen their display at the /cattleman's show in January. They have open house at their home too. I think I ill go this year around Thanksgiving. Thanks for reminding me. MB

Your bowl of vintage buttons looks very Fall too with the varied color palette! I also love to press a few leaves every year. This year, I ironed them between wax paper, cut them out and made a little leaf garland for my picture window. I like the way they turned out and the sun shows up the colors nicely.
