Posted - Apr 23 2014 : 3:06:35 PM because . . . - the weather changes several times in the same day here in southwest Colorado - a returning hummingbird came looking for the feeder - my German yellow irises are in bloom (the first flowers to bloom here)

Posted - Apr 23 2014 : 1:29:06 PM I know it is spring because I saw a blue heron in the river fishing, the daffodils, forsythia, magnolia's, and redbud trees are blooming, and the trees have finally got green leaves opening up as I type this!

Posted - Apr 22 2014 : 6:40:18 PM Because we have baby chicks that just hatched out, there are flowers and trees and all sorts of beautiful things popping up and blooming everywhere, my bees are foraging and bringing lots of pollen back to the hive, my cool weather crops a re planted and growing!,,,, Love Spring!
