Posted - Nov 04 2006 : 05:00:26 AM Have you noticed how the Stitching Room new posts expand rapidly with the onset of cool weather and the holidays? And the Garden Gate gets proportionately smaller? And in the spring they switch and one grows long while the other grows short?
I love seeing the rhythms and cycles in farm life, and that's one that's evident here. Nothing big, but it makes me smile.![](icons/icon_smile.gif) |

Posted - Nov 07 2006 : 05:10:52 AM Mary Ann, that is so cool isn't it? I started spinning alot again, I don't spin much during the summer but once fall begins... look out! I love fall so much & I love snow, snow to me is so magical, beautiful & pure, until it turns black! I do however love spring because I love gardening & all the beautiful flowers. Summer is great for the beach, the outdoor concerts in town in Ocean grove, stores are open till late. Long walks on the beach & boardwalk. I guess I love all the seasons and could not live anywhere that didn't have all 4 of them. By the time your tired of one, the other is here. It's great for people like me.![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Nov 04 2006 : 06:27:32 AM You are so right, Mary Ann. And I would rather be outside than in the sewing room. I will be doing some garden-type embroidery. Rhythms and Cycles.
Life may not be the party we hoped for...but while we are here we might as well dance! |
