I have been informed that Windows XP is gone as of April 8th.
The computer I homeschooled all my kids on is XP and all my pictures are on it too. Spent time early this morning moving pictures to a stick before the death happens. I would like a Tablet next, my own.

i had xp, just bought a new computer because i needed more space. you can still use xp, but after that april date you will no longer be able to receive updates, which may cause security issues. so they say. check to see if your computer needs any updates and get them now before april.

btw- i am keeping the old computer as a backup for someone else in the house. i saved all my stuff, then restored it to factory settings, updated xp, and it's still a good computer.

Yeah, this is a huge bummer. Window XP was their most reliable product.
