Posted - Mar 01 2014 : 08:21:24 AM I LOVE LOVE LOVE old books! Of course, I love books of any kind. I always look for old books every where I go and when I find one I always think that I found a treasure. I just recenty found an old copy of Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott it had writting in it that said, "To Arlene, from mommy. December 25 1956." I love Louisa and just grabbed the book and paid for it. It wasn't until I got out to my car and looked inside that I saw the writing. I thought it was so awesome! Hope you enjoy your books and that you find many more.

Posted - Mar 01 2014 : 07:03:31 AM Heidi was a favorite. I don't know when it was written, but when I was about 8 years old, 56 years ago I discovered it in a bookcase at my grandmother's house. I loved the positive attitude of Pollyana too. Thanks for arousing pleasant memories.
