It has a ton of electrolytes and does rehydrate you very very well!

I think it depends on the brand. I personally have drink it for decades.

But, of the brands on the market right now, I like Vita cocoa, the pineapple one. I always feel very refreshed after it, and to me it taste good.

I think though some people are expecting coconut milk which is much richer, and thicker then water.... it may also be a taste that is acquired, I have liked it since I was little. My step father used to give it to me...but my mom never liked it... so maybe if you didn't grow up with it it is different.

I do not know the ones you all tried, but I can tell you, I would NOT drink one out of a can, I think the can will distort the flavor! I would choose cardboard or glass.

My daughter and I bought some thinking "YUM" but it was nasty!
Not sure if it's good for you, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I think that its more that it somehow rehydrates the body more quickly than water or Gatorade, not so much about replacing the electrolytes. But I'll tell you, the stuff we tried tasted more like dirty water than sweet. We didn't like it at all. Bummer... I love coconut, and love using coconut oil, so was hoping this would be a delicious alternative to water when we're on the go. Nope - not for us!

You know, I don't know what all is said about it, but I was at Costco and they were saying it was like a natural form of Gatorade. They were giving samples. We three felt it tasted icky, too sweet, and made us all thirsty.
