I never read either book, but I did see the movies.. Shirley Temple as Heidi and I want to say it was the English accented actress, dang I can't remember her name but can see her face clearly... dang 'oldheimers' strikes again!

No the Pollyanna and Heidi books are from a trunk that was in an upstairs family attic.
