Posted - Jan 24 2014 : 2:33:32 PM Ok, so when we moved to WA from Cali, we really left behind our furniture, and I did so willingly under the impression that we would acquire new (or at least new to us) items. For the first two months we slept on an air mattress that slowly ballooned. For my birthday, I got a new mattress. Our living room had only an antique chest that I was unwilling to leave behind and blankets to sit on! Anyway...to make a long story short, I've been searching Craigslist for free or cheap furniture and today, I bought a micro suede chair for $5. The only thing is the cat scratches around the bottom. One day, I hope to fix that, but for now, it's my new favorite place to read my MJF magazine or looking out the window, with my favorite cup of tea! While I won't admit it, this is now "mom's chair!"
