Some of you know that I've been dealing with a very heart-breaking situation. It all seemed to come down at Christmas. I cried. then i found this poem, and it's so true:
CRYING
by Galway Kinnell

Crying only a little bit
is of no use. You must cry
until your pillow is soaked!
Then you can get up and laugh.
Then you can jump in the shower
and splash-splash-splash!
Then you can throw open your window
and, "Ha, ha! Ha, ha!"
And if people say, "Hey
What's going on up there?"
"Ha, ha!" sing back, "Happiness
was hiding in the last tear!
I wept it! Ha, ha!"

I've often found that once I have a good cry, I'm able to laugh again. If I try to hold that cry in, it just makes it all so much worse.

And I'm so sorry that you have that need!

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

Amazing poem! Thank you, Cindy, for sharing it.
There can be such a release in crying and it helping us let go of pain and stress.
