Things here have been a little wacky. But I've come up with a new form of hockey. I'm calling it the Okie League. But you have to have two broken feet and a torn meniscus to play (I did a really bad imitation of Dorothy Hammill on a wet floor at the post office) I just have to figure out what to use for a puck!!

OMG Marybeth, I just read this post. I had surgery on my hand and have not been on. I am so sorry about your poor feet and knee. I hope you heal fast. Typing is hard for me right now so cutting this short. Prayers for a quick healing and be careful.Hugs.

Mary Beth...well girlie look at it this way...YOU DID IT UP IN STYLE!!! You do sort of look like a
Ice Hockey Goalie...I bet you could get yourself hired on. They have to fall a lot to keep the puck
from going past them. You've already practiced and got that move down...that's for sure.
It isn't nice to laugh at tragedy (especially someone else's)...but sometimes it is THE BEST THING TO DO!!
Just to keep from crying about it. Love your Spirit Girl!!! Keep on Smilen!

So sorry about your injuries. At least you can laugh about it! I just got out of my boot for a broken ankle. It's not fun but it is amazing how the body heals! Feel better!

For pucks I would recommend balled up orphan socks. They are soft and travel well.

Thanks y'all. I dunno. It just seems kind of ridiculous to me so I can laugh! Just hoping we don't get the winter storm they are predicting tomorrow!! No electricity would REALLY not make this fun. :-)
