Posted - Nov 30 2013 : 11:08:04 AM my neighbor girl has had her rabbit in with the chickens for the last 5 years but she has a huge coop with a dirt floor...the rabbit has created tunnels so the chickens that are small lay their eggs in there...lol...so its like a treasure hunt for eggs each day....anyway she has had no illnesses or fights with the rabbit being in there....when I had 2 rabbits I had them in a enclosed area next to the coop but never did put them together cause at that time I had worries they might fight but I did have chickens jump over the fencing & hang out with the 2 rabbits, but mine were both does & the neighbor girls is a doe so maybe its the bucks that can be a bit aggressive with the chickens???? have no idea....anyway its something to think about but if it works for you & the chickens I see no reason not to try....Michele'
