I remember Tea Parties with my sister and cousin at Grandma's. I miss the fun we had and the tiny china Tea Set Grandma had for us to play with. To this day I still collect tiny Tea Sets. My daughter has given some unique ones. Wish I had some grand daughters to use them, but alas I don't. What a great place you have for yours. Thanks for sharing.

I remember the year I started leaving my toys behind. I was in third grade and my sister, a year younger than I, would constantly ask me to play Barbies. I always told her I had homework to do and would roughly brush her aside. I am crying for this time too.

I remember that my mom always left my daughters Barbies set up in the extra bedroom so she could just pick up where she left off from last visit.

I had one child, and four grandchildren. The oldest of the grands is now ten. I am already going through withdrawals about no more high chairs, no more baby dolls, no more little child hugs....I better get a grip, because it is only just starting as they grow up!! I am even sad that there is no more diapers.

I hear ya, Nancy Jo. I'm slowly seeing my girl leave her toys. I figure this is the last year as next year she will be in junior high. Ugh.

That's too sad....I love this age that I'm reliving with Violet. We have tea parties, we play dress up, all of that girly stuff.
I see her growing each and every day and mourn yesterday's passing. I so know how sad this is, Nancy.
