I was wondering if any of you could help me out.
I am trying to create a blog on TypePad. I noticed that some of you girls have some wonderful blogs there.
How did you make your great (Banners? or Title? )at the top of the page? I am not sure if that is what you call it. I wanted to have the name of the site along with a pretty little picture. I have tried to make one but I don't have any programs that will allow me to save the image as a jpg or gif.
Wondering if anyone could give advice?

Oh ok, you want to look for tagline or something like that in the settings, not sure what it's called on typepad but on blogger it's all in the settings. Hope this helps?

Hi sue, I know I didn't explain that well, what I meant was on this site...like you have "visit me at my blogs" do they come up automatically or do you type them in each time?

Thanks girls, to answer your questions, the garden cafe pic came with the template from Homesteadblogger.com. They have the most beautiful templates to choose from and so many! They too are easy to use and post pics. Bonnie, I'm not sure what your talking about? Are you having trouble posting your entry? One rule of thumb with blogger is you have to refurnish your blog each time you add a entry or it won't show up. I'll be looking forward to seeing all your blogs, they are so much fun and additive!

Lindy, I have just started a blog myself. I am using blogspot.com and have found it fairly easy. I just can't figure out how to get the page to lists on my posts!!!

Sue, I love your blogs. Where did you get the picture for the garden cafe? It is beautiful! I'm a bit clueless as to how to begin with a blog as well, so I'm glad that this discussion began, because I was going to start asking questions!

Gee Lindy, I don't Typepad at all, but I find blogspot the easiest and no limits to how many photos you can post. I do know in general that if you save photos, do in TIF they take up less room. Good luck and post your blog for us to see!
