Posted - Nov 06 2013 : 12:19:43 PM Dear old and new farmgirl friends, I have had a crazy summer and fall and miss my sisters! I had to de-clutter my Mom's house with 48 years of clutter and sell it at auction and move her into a Senior Apartment. I also put my house on the market and when it sells DH and I will be traveling the country in our big Fifth Wheel! We will be work camping in various areas. We are supposed to be in Lousisiana by January 5th and then to North Carolina from May until October! I am going to be the traveling farmgirl and still try to eat organic and local! Should be interesting trying to grow produce in containers from my camper! I will have some time now to catch up on all the farmgirl goings on. Missed you all!

Posted - Nov 08 2013 : 06:14:13 AM So nice to hear from you all! We were hired at the Dworshak Reservoir in Idaho for next summer but found this job in NC Blue Ridge Mountains that gives us our site and pays us too! Still haven't sold the house. The market in Janesville, WI is really down. Lots of houses for sale and foreclosed. The closing of GM in this city is really starting to have an effect. We probably won't be able to make the job in Louisiana on January 5th. We really can't go until the house sells. I may be spending another winter in Wisconsin!
