I just read your blog and you've given this "old broad" a new perspective on hard work. I know from your letters that it was challenging--gosh, it makes my life seem like the lap of luxury. I do remember though, that the best job I ever had was a job I had working at a petting zoo--it was hard work--I had to push a wheelbarrow of manure a quarter mile to dump it--but it was so rewarding. Now that it's autumn, I find myself wishing I had a job where I could work outdoors. You should definitely write a book about your experiences.
I'm looking into getting a couple of hens (I've read that two hens won't fight). I have plans for a mobile coop that I can build--just wonder how my dog will take it. I didn't know you had a bearded dragon.

take your time! I really think that your friend was even more overwhelmed than you were with all that had to be done-that's why she never "told" you what to do!!!!
michelle-i give you so much credit for the undertaking!!!! would love to have been there with you!!!! amazing what us old broads can accomplish!!!!!
