I love where I moved,,,, it is a small community that we have loved visiting over the last 20 years,,, and now we call it home, our community.

This weekend was 'Tarantula Fest' weekend.... it was such fun,,, kids having fun at the 'scream competition',,, the pumpkin decorating booth, the peddler/vendors, the community dance troop performing, the scent of Indian Tacos and Kettle corn wafting in the air... and of course the Tarantulas... and yes I held one... as did my dear husband who absolutely Hates spiders of any size!

The critter was docile... but I did make sure I went the ladies restroom first before holding the tarantula! lol!

ok I about jumped out of my chair when I say that HUGE spider!!!!! Honestly I am better with spiders but I still get the creep factor going when I see one THAT big!!I think I would definitely have a problem in your town...now if it was snakes, lizards, rats I would be fine but I just keep seeing one on the table with me trying to drink my coffee...brrrrrrrr....
Oh Cj I am sooo with you we had flying huge roaches in Georgia though they called them something else...talk about crazy I am up on the sofa screaming as they are dive bombing me & my hubby & son are laughing cause I have no idea how to get away from them.....

I don't mind Spiders and Snakes...but just show me a RAT and I'm done in.

I hate those things!!!! Gross! And to think some people keep them as PETS!

Wouldn't allow my boys to have them when growing up either. A Guinea Pig was the
best I could do by them. LOL

Peggy

Awesome! Looks like you had a great time. Spiders I can handle, but get me near a snake and I will completely freak out!!
