I wish I could say he loves ME, but...

Tonight I pulled out all the stops for dinner... Fried chicken, cheesy twice baked potatoes, broccoli from the garden, homemade applesauce... My husband and son were in heaven. It was a chilly day, and there was nothing like a hot, stick-to-your bones meal after a long weary-man-making day. After dinner, I was rinsing dishes off at the sink, and in came my hubby with his plate, all smiles and staring lovingly into my eyes. Flirtingly I smiled, feeling all cutesy and girly and proud of myself in my favorite black check and cherry covered apron from CJ, and asked him if he enjoyed his meal? He smiled back, and in a flirty, deep, rolling voice he said, "Uh-Yyyyyyessss!" Suddenly, both of his hands reached out towards my waist, and I closed my eyes expecting a long, loving, romantic kiss. Instead, I felt a tug at my apron. I looked down and the knucklehead was wiping the last vestiges of dinner from his lips! My jaw dropped and I just gawked at him, stunned. He looked up, smirked and said, "What?! I had to wipe off the crumbs! Gotta love CJ's aprons!" THEN he kissed me! On the FOREHEAD! And then WALKED AWAY!!! UGH! MEN!

Well, CJ - I guess I've got his stamp of approval to order more, then! LOL!

Hugs -

Ah, Nini, you are the sweetest! I might have found a different word than "knucklehead!" but, like I said, you are the sweetest. And that is a sweet story. Made me smile.

That's so funny, Maddie - I have a couple really pretty collage aprons that I just haven't worn yet because they're so pretty... Fancy pretty... But I'm sure now that fall is here I'll be wearing those all the time, too. :)

LOL! Yep! You're right, CJ! Gotta love them, too.. I'll give him a hug for you! LOL!

What I neglected to say is that whenever I wear my aprons, I always say, "Gotta love CJ's aprons!" because not only do I feel so great wearing them (they're just so pretty and cheerful!), but I swear they save me from major mishaps on a regular basis. My guys hear that saying from me all the time. So, yeah, he was definitely mocking me and putting my own words right back on me. ;) LOL!

I have a couple CJ's full aprons & I always feel so pretty in them, heck when I first got the one that is shabby chic & has ruffles, I wouldn't wear it but for show LOL
