that you insist on having the "Name Brand?"

Our family has a few products that we are picky about ... my husband insists on pure cane sugar, says he can smell the sugar beets in the other kind...

Best Food mayonnaise

Puffs Plus

and Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce!

How about your family?

My gosh, you have all mentioned so many items I have never seen locally! CJ, I know about fresh marshmallows, DH makes them. You'll never go back!

I though Kalona Supernaturals was just a local thing! Wow! I live about 30 minutes from there!

We don't do much milk, so when we do, we are snobs about it! Nothing even compares to Kalona Supernatural whole milk with a cream top...well, until we get our own cow that is :)

Homemade marshmallows from our own "Calicogirl" . . .Sharon. Never going back to commercially made!

Just got a new batch today and made the "S'Mores Pie" that Mary Jane posted on her Raising Jane blogspot on Friday. Will get to eat it later this afternoon!

Judy, thanks for telling me--we have only one IGA around here. Kroger is where I used to get it, but they stopped carrying it. Then I found it at Target...same thing. Of course, anything that I've loved, Target stops carrying within a matter of months. I'll check it out. Mary Beth, I went to the blog and was happy to see a great recipe for enchiladas AND enter the giveaway! Thanks for posting about it!

Jonni, I'm having a Red Gold giveaway at the blog. There's a Red Gold tomato apron and a bottle of Red Gold brand Mama Selita's Jalapeno ketchup. And you've inspired me, so I'll throw in a can of Red Gold diced tomatoes too. :-) You could win!

I'm a Lea and Perrin's girl.

Puffs Plus with Lotion

LL Bean backpacks

I only bake with Ghiradelli chocolate.

The household ketchup that I used to buy I cannot find very often anymore--I love Red Gold. Our stores just do not carry it. It was my favorite!

Great question Marianne:)

Another Heinz girl here to (if I don't have time to make homemade).
Vernors Gingerale.

Nini, I always bought Lea Perrins Worcestershire Sauce but have tried Heinz and I like that too.

Heinz ketchup for us also! Hershey's chocolate syrup, Jello pudding. Can't think of anything else right now. We buy store brand for most things, though.

Dawn liquid dish soap, original (used in making goat wipes and other things here)

Clorox bleach (again used to disinfect milk bucket etc)

Kikkoman Organic Soy Sauce (used to make homemade Teriyaki Sauce)

Charmin toilet paper

Most everything else we buy we focus more on the "organic" label other than peanut butter. We try to get Meijer Natural peanut butter. The only ingredient is peanuts (no extra salt or oils).
