Posted - Jul 24 2013 : 06:46:14 AM Phew. My nerves are at their ends.
Just wanted to let everyone know my e-mail will be working today. I'll try to get back with everyone, but I have so much to get done (estimate on repair for the barn roof, the dryer, etc. etc). Not to mention the mess I still have to clean up. But a thankful one at that.
Thank you to all your kind comments on my blog too.
The cable/internet guy is still here. The cable won't go back on, but we have internet. The line was basically melted at the pole by the highway.
....worst year ever.

Posted - Jul 26 2013 : 3:20:45 PM Hi Kristine, I am so sorry to hear about all the terrible storm damage on top of a horrible garden year! I know you are anxious to get things settled soon and get back to a more sane routine!! It has been quite the summer out your way this year. Hopefully , Fall will settle things down and be more pleasant and you can take out that new camper and enjoy a fun weekend!!

Posted - Jul 25 2013 : 06:05:00 AM I'm so tired of being "tired" from trials around here, that I told the Good Lord "Bring it on!" I'm ready for whatever comes next.
The TV is not fixable so it's getting recycled soon. Not sure on the dryer, nor the barn roofing yet. Our biggest job is getting the big barn torn down now.
I'm desperately working in the garden to save tomato plants too. I run out of time every day.
I still have to sew up the rip in the camper, and have never worked with camper repairs like that.
So much to get done....
Thank goodness for Holy Basil tea. It's so soothing for stress.

Posted - Jul 24 2013 : 2:23:05 PM Hi Kristi! Glad that you at least got your internet back. Slowly things will get done, just take your time, one day at a time (which can be frustrating I know). But the main thing is that you are all safe. As Nini said- don't worry about us, we are hear praying for you and keeping you in our thoughts. Hugs,

Posted - Jul 24 2013 : 2:17:11 PM Oh, Kristina! I am so sorry you've been through all of that! How frightening! No wonder you had been on my mind! I'm so grateful that you all are okay, and that Mattie and Jasper made it through unharmed! Pam is absolutely right - don't worry about emailing everyone back or anything. Just take all the time you need to concentrate on getting things back on track at home. In the meantime, we'll all be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you, sister. Hang in there! Hugs - Nini

Glad that your internet is back on. It's the first step to getting things repaired and working. You've had a tough go of it...and you've landed on your feet and you are already getting things fixed. Good for you! Please remember to take care of yourself during this stressful time.
Warmly, Pam

Posted - Jul 24 2013 : 07:28:27 AM Kristina, I am hoping and praying that things start making a turnaround for you very soon. You deserve a break from all the bad that has happened. Things will get better, think positive. I went though a lot of similar things years ago, it took forever to finally have a year without some sort of disaster. Am here if you need a hug.
