Posted - Oct 22 2006 : 3:13:28 PM read this .. and thought i'd pass the info along:
Last year's hurricane season has slowed this year's demand for cruise travel. (
UH-DUHHH!! T'would NOT be fun to be on the 'high seas' and have a hurricane or tornado come whipping your way!) o.k. .. i ADDED this part!
RESULT: Cruise companies are cutting prices. Check with your travel agent for the latest deals.
And THIS info is from The Wall Street Journal.

Posted - Oct 23 2006 : 5:35:10 PM Cruises don't interest me either. I have two daughters that have both worked on them and had the time of their lives, it was a fabulous way for them to see alot of the world and get paid for it no less! Not for me though, a holiday for me would be where I could interact with the local people and learn about different cultures. Cruises are great though for folks who like to spend a day in a lot of different ports. Imagine the shopping!! Di |

Posted - Oct 23 2006 : 5:21:02 PM Oh frannie, I have no desire to take a cruise, my entire family has been on cruises but as weird as it may seem I have no interest in it. BUT.... I have always wanted to go on a windjammer cruise in Maine, now that excites me. We want to try to take one this summer for 5 days. I'll pass the news to my family members and they will really appreciate it. Thanks.
