Schools were closed again today, so dd and I spent hours making handmade Valentines for her class. Fifty total, stamped, colored, embossed and be-ribboned. It was such a sweet day, and time flew by. She's ten, and I can't help but wonder how many more times she will want to make Valentines. Such a sweet time.

My daughter and I would craft together if we could! She's an adult with a family and a job and lives almost 400 miles away!

Now that's a way to spend the day...crafting and bonding...I love it. You both will remember this day forever. And I know there will be many more days like this. My daughter is 14 and we still craft together. Hugs, Erica

That sounds like the best way to spend a day off from school! I'm so glad you had such a good day together!

You're making wonderful memories.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."
