Posted - Feb 11 2013 : 5:51:44 PM Ugh! I have heard a movie is trying to be made in Connecticut based on the events of December 14th. Gross! Just gross! I thought movies were meant for entertainment! And I am just exasperated that there are websites, blogs, and articles all over, some in reputable papers, claiming what happened is a hoax that the town was in on! ![](icons/icon_smile_angry.gif) ![](icons/icon_smile_angry.gif) I wish it wasn't a reality, but it happened, and we have all been through enough. These types of actions and postings are callous, sick, and plain sad. [|)
I'm sorry girls, I know it's none of you, but it hurts my heart to see how the world can be. The majority of humans, I believe, are good. But this takes the cake.
Just wanted to vent, again. Love you all.

Posted - Feb 12 2013 : 3:24:36 PM Oh sweet Nicole, Words can not express how this saddens me. I just dont understand how some people's minds work. I wonder where these people come from, and why they feel the need to come out of the woodwork at times like this. I think MONEY is the root of evil here and in so many other cases. The whole "conspiracy theory" thing is mind blowing to me. I just dont understand how anyone could come up with the idea that this is a hoax, or was planned etc. Just insanity, plain and simple. I would not even entertain the thought for a second, for we all know better.
The bottom line is that we live in a world where there are many types of people. MANY wonderful, and then there are some who arent so wonderful. We need to try and continue to focus on the good, and not let the evil into our hearts or minds. Sometimes its hard, especially when a tragedy such as this hits home. But be strong, and be better!
I continue to pray for you, your family and your community for healing and strength. Big Farmgirl Hugs to you Sister!

Posted - Feb 11 2013 : 7:57:17 PM Glad to see that there was a bright spot in your day at the concert. Sometimes we need to take joy in the things that mean most and let the other stuff go. It is incredibly disgusting that there are people in our world who would see the tragedy as an opportunity to create a movie. Praying you have many peaceful days ahead. Hugs, Erica

Posted - Feb 11 2013 : 6:08:00 PM Hi Lisa, You are right - poor taste. That's exactly what it is.
As for my budding violinist, she had a concert at school and is doing great! Her teacher has her "tutoring" the other kids in violin. Sooo proud. The concert at school was a great distraction, and I think the kids are all feeling more at ease. Thanks so much for asking!

Posted - Feb 11 2013 : 6:00:39 PM Very poor taste, but sadly, if there is money to be made, there will be some scum holding their hand out. I, too, try to hold to the belief that the humankind is good, but sometimes, well there is no explanation, other than evil & greed. Still praying and sending love to you and all of your community. How is the budding violinist doing????
