These boots were made for walking (to borrow a song verse from Nancy Sinatra)...

and that just what they'll....

one of these days these boots will walk all over you!...
Ready boots? start walking...
OK, who here remembers that song....

I was perusing through some of my vintage magazines when I came across these ad,... I have to laugh... looking at the green & yellow boots kind of remind me of ;John Deer' tractor colors...

I remember when I was a little kid watching Nancy Sinatra perform that song on the "Flip Wilson Show". Wow, how is that for dating oneself?

Don't you agree though, that there is something liberating about having boots on? I love the song, and am probably silently singing it in my head as I am looking down at my feet. Hehehe....maybe I will wear a pair today:) Erica

I actually sang that song at a Karoeke bar on a girl's night out years ago! I was wearing combat boots at the time.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I was a teenager when that song came out, and I had to get a pair of hollaballoo boots just like the once Nancy wore!!!! That was a big thing back in 65!!!
