This went down pretty good with some coffee. Been feeling bad all day for the poor people in and around NY city. Must be awful. Doesn't seem to be much order to the whole recovery thing. Hope things look better tomorrow. Played house today, Heather and I went for groceries, I started picking up a few things for Thanksgiving, guess the whole family will be here, that is one night that I sleep real good.

Oh, doesn't that sound delightful, Nancy! YUM! I definitely could use some strawberry shortcake on a day like today - a ray of sunshine to warm the chilly autumn rain! I'm going to go raid the freezer as soon as I get offline! :) We really do need to pray for those who are suffering from the storm, and, of course, help whenever and however we can; but likewise I think it's a wonderful thing to celebrate the good things we do have and the people who love us... and to simply be grateful.
