I always keep a basket on my kitchen counter with them in. They look so perky. Hard to resist them when I'm in the stores, they have so many pretty ones now.

Linda, thank you, and yes I agree it is a comforting time of year. The changing seasons always seem to bring new energy.

Hi Nancy! I love kitchen towels too. My Mom always bought me the feedsack towels for Christmas which I love too. But I love the sweet embroidered dish towels and the striped ones.

Linda,
I know, its a simple thing, kitchen towels, but they do make a statement and add so much color. Thank you for your notice of my leave display.

Nancy, pretty towels, and then the leaves hanging on the sheers by the window, was really beautiful and great idea. I just had to respond when I saw this--my family thinks that kitchen towels are my addiction. I think you can never have enough. For 21 years, I work in a professional kitchen, and we always had plenty of white towels, you could go thru 20 or more in a shift. So just naturally, I am a bit frivolus at home with mine, but I love all the patterns and colors, and I too, have embroidered ones, mostly they hang on the stove handle. My sister-in-law comes once a year and stays a month, she always picks a favorite and goes home with it. I sometimes, just send her one I see. Thanks for bringing this subject up, its fun! I always have pretty colorful kitchen towels hanging around the kitchen. And, yes, Bonnie, they do make lovely gifts.
