Posted - Oct 04 2012 : 10:42:40 AM Is a farmgirl's treasure! Guess I've rubbed off on my DH. Look what goodies he brought home! The pic is taken in my basement, pardon it, just wanted to share with my farmgirls. I have to clean it all up. One of DH's bosses was throwing this all away, so DH asked to have it instead. I can think of a gazillion things to do with the galvanized tub. The planter is stunning, and I'm running ideas through my head of what to do with the Victorian birdcage. Don't you just love surprises?

Posted - Oct 04 2012 : 8:28:21 PM Hello Nicole, What awesome finds! I have a victorian birdcage in the main entry in my house. It's a great focal point and conversation starter. I have leaves cascade down the side of it in the fall, ivy in the spring and dried hydrangeas too! Have fun!

Posted - Oct 04 2012 : 6:27:13 PM Thanks, girls! Marly and Marlee :):I love your ideas...I am thinking I could even do something seasonally...like mini pumpkins with the vines for Fall, something Christmas-y in December... I think the planter would be pretty with just about anything...would love to do some mums and cabbages right now. :)

Posted - Oct 04 2012 : 11:13:15 AM You can hang the birdcage outside with an English Ivy in it. They grow fast. I think it'd be cute. Marly
